Dog Spinner Card

Today I wanted to share a birthday card I made.  The dogs are from Nate's ABCs as well as the ball he is playing with.  "Happy Birthday" on the front is from the Celebrations cartridge and the font is from A Child's Year.  I wanted to make the ball bounce as it spun so I used the rope font from the Old West cartridge.  I connected a s,c and ) so it would wrap up and down more. The ball even makes a bouncing sound as it goes up and down.
The inside of the card - the ball in the corner rotates as well.

Frog Birthday Card

Hi, I wanted to share a card I made for my grandma's birthday.  I used the frog from the Mini Monsters cartridge for the front.  I don't have any embossing folders with dots, so I ran the frog through the embossing machine over some jiffy grip fabric to get the raised spots all over him.  After I put the words on, I noticed they were off-center. I stuck some ribbon on the side of the front to make it look more even.  The frog on the front is a shaker.  I love the phrase "I was toad... it is better to get laugh lines than to get worry warts;" which was cut from the girl font on the cupcake cartridge.  The frog inside is from the Paisley cartridge.  He and the "hoppy birthday" both pop-up when you pull the arrow tab.

Dinosaur Shaker Card

So, this is a shaker card my little sister and I made for our nephew. Our internet wasn't working, so we couldn't use any design software.  It's been a while since I only used the machine.  My little sister hand-wrote the message on the front.  The dinosaur and phrase are from Create a Critter.

Magic Thank-You Card

This is my first attempt at a magic card:
I tried to keep the card simple.  I added eyelets all around the border and put an extra paper behind it that I glittered so you could see some color in the middle.  My little sister helped me to color the image.
This is the card when you pull on the tab:
I love the image of the little outfit with the airplane on it because my Mother-in-Law enjoys collecting baby clothes with a plane theme and this is meant for her.  Now if we only had a kid to wear some of the clothes :-)

I'm going to enter this into the following challenges:

Sorry for not mentioning before, I used the Plantin Schoolbook for the oval and for the rectangle and little tab on top to pull out the slider.  The Cricut made it easy to center the image.

Robot Wow Birthday Card

This robot looked like he was shouting out "Wow" to me, so  I made a card to go with him.
The letters are from the Robotz Cartridge too.  And this is the inside:
"You're" is Cursive 101 and the Happy Birthday I took from the Ultimate Creativity cartridge.
I thought I would enter this guy into some challenges so:

New Title

Hi! I'm so excited that I actually won top 3 at My Craft Spot :-) I put the little caption thing on the sidebar.
I just wanted to mention about dressing up my blog, I added a new background that I made out of blue paper - I inked it and chalked it to get the texture look then cut out the cloud shapes and added different kinds of puff paints to make the clouds look more realistic.  I also found a cloud font online and used that to cut out the title then inked it pink.  I used a google image to cut out the plane with Make The Cut.  For the look of the propeller moving, I cut two circle shapes from an old plastic shell the cricut cartridges come in.  Then I inked the edges black and overlapped them where the prop would be. Here's a picture of what just the plane looks like against the cloud background:
I hope you like the new look, I'm excited about how it turned out!
